How We Approach Every Watch
Regardless of which service you are considering, every watch that comes to us passes through the same initial stage: a careful inspection under magnification, followed by a written account of what we found. That document is yours to keep whether you proceed with a service or not.
From there, the work takes the form that best suits the piece. A watch in otherwise sound condition may need only cleaning, lubrication, and a timing adjustment. One with dulled hands and a worn dial may benefit from cosmetic attention without touching the movement. And an older piece that has sat unworn for years may call for a full disassembly and rebuild.
We describe the most suitable path in plain terms and discuss it with you. The final decision is always yours.

Service 01
Basic Service & Inspection
A gentle service beginning with a close inspection of the movement, followed by cleaning, fresh lubrication, and regulation so the watch runs steadily again. Suited to owners noticing irregular timekeeping or simply maintaining a treasured piece. We explain our findings in plain language and suggest nothing the owner does not need.

Hand & Dial Service

We always discuss whether to keep an authentic aged look, as many owners value an original dial's character. A thoughtful option for watches whose movements run well but whose faces have dulled over the years.

Secure Handling & Storage
Watches in our care are stored in a locked, access-controlled environment. They are never left unattended or mixed with other pieces.
Timing Machine Verification
Every serviced movement is verified on a timing machine across multiple positions. The result is recorded and provided with the service documentation.
Written Documentation
A written assessment precedes all work. A written service record accompanies collection. You leave with a clear account of what was done.
Labour Warranty
Service work is covered by a warranty on our labour. If a workmanship issue arises within the covered period, we address it at no additional charge.
Professional-Grade Materials
We use watchmaker-specification lubricants and cleaning solutions. These are not general-purpose products; they are formulated for the tolerances inside a mechanical movement.
No Obligation After Assessment
You may collect your watch after the assessment with no further obligation. We will explain what we found, and the decision to proceed rests entirely with you.
